Region 3 PNP aims for ‘Zero Crime’ during Undas in Central Luzon

The Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) has stationed approximately 4,000 officers across major roads and burial grounds in Central Luzon in preparation for All Saints’ and All Souls’ Day, commonly referred to as “Undas.”

Brigadier General Jose Hidalgo Jr., the PRO3 director, mentioned in a Tuesday announcement that 1,000 of these officers will act as road safety marshals, with the remaining 3,000 maintaining tranquility at transport hubs and graveyards.

He emphasized the regional police’s objective of achieving “zero crime incidence” during these commemorations.

The commencement of this deployment was on Tuesday and is scheduled to continue until the night of All Souls’ Day on November 2.

“The intention behind our officers’ visibility is to ensure the public’s well-being and protection during the All Saints’ Day on November 1 and All Souls’ Day on November 2,” Hidalgo stated.

Hidalgo also advised the community to stay cautious and be on the lookout for potential criminals seeking opportunities.

“Should any incidents arise, the community is advised to promptly report to the closest police precinct or reach out via the PNP hotline numbers 09985985330 and 09175562597,” conveyed the PRO3.
